High Maintenance

I participated in the Ubisoft Montréal Student Game Lab Competition where my team had 10 weeks to create a game meeting several criteria. There were 19 teams competing to win 9 different awards. So many external complications were thrown at my team and yet we came out stronger for it. I can’t say how much I appreciated them. And we couldn’t have done it without the support of our mentors, Vincent Dionne and Vincent de Perrot whose advising was truly invaluable to our team.

On High Maintenance my roles were:
Product Owner
Combat Design
UI Design and Art
UX Design and Art
As well as having a hand in all parts of the game since the team worked so closely together. Even my own roles had a huge amount of help from my fantastic and talented team.

Honors achieved by High Maintenance:
Best Technical Challenge and Innovation – Nominated
Best Creativity and Integration of the Theme – Nominated
Best User Experience – Won 🎉
